Realization In Life Lived.

Now I am not that old, but with the quarter life that I have lived : and not quarter bottle drunk or quarter life drunk, I have observed few things in life.

You might be young and might be feeling that the world is your oyster, and I will second to you that you are not wrong.

Ever since I was a kid, I was told that I should be grateful to my country and being born as Bhutanese. But then, being cynical and skeptical person, that was hard to understand or believe. And it would take me decades and engineering in India, that my belief would get restored. We seriously should be thankful for being where we are today, but we should also understand that we can't be Ferrari owning folks, for our economy isn't doing good. Furtherest one can go can be portrayed in a movie called Fate Cheats, as we can only be Kelden rich : which is : we can own a house, own a land cruiser and recharge vouchers for others. Besides, why be disheartened? If you own Ferrari and are working for Google, next day they will fire you. So, be thankful that you are equivalent to Google Employee.

Blowing in the wind: I remember living in the woods.

There was a time, when we lived in a house that was made out of woods, and it had stream next to it. It was near the ridges and not too far from there, a takin zoo was located.

I remember living in the woods,
When the wind tried to talk,
Tried to pass some message,
Which I could never decipher.

I remember living in the woods,
When some Nadik and Sherpem Sherpa talked on radio,
I would never miss the songs and I would read,
Which turned me into loner.

I remember living in the woods,
To see our landlord built alters,
And house which was three storied made out of wooden battens.

I remember living in the woods,
When it was cold and warm,
While I laid back upon the fallen needled leaves,
And played with cones.
I remember living in the woods,
When I would read under the trees,
And saw young people of my age come for dates,
I don't know why they too were in the woods - nah, I do know.

I remember living in the woods,
Contemplating everything about life,
Taking strolls amongst the then highest point then,
Watching the city from far away,
Sometimes meeting Ministers and sometimes seeing the King,
And resuming observing the city,
Wishing to grow older,
Wishing to fly away,
At times, sipping tea became luxurious then,
And I remember walking amongst the woods,
Smelling and cherishing the raw smell of mud and earth,
Listening to streams sing,
Sleeping under the trees,
Getting lost at the sight of sun rays,
Wishing it won't rain that day,
Fearing how I would fight a bear,
At times, walking without a footwear,
And I didn't have to explain it to anybody,
Where I was or what I did?
I was happy then, with not much happening in life.
And when I saw that house again,
How I wished to go back to living in the woods.

At least, I do.

Solace in Writing.

There are only handful of ardent bloggers in Bhutan, bloggers meaning people who actually write to make difference and who has cause to their writings. Majority of us, we just have accounts in Wordpress or Blogspot.

We are more of defecating species who have not much to do, but just write for the sake of our own satisfaction. We don't write for a cause, perhaps, somewhere, we lost faith in our writings that it can actually impact someone. However, here we are, updating our blogs: perhaps, that's only me who thinks so. So, I am this defecating species, who just wants to liberate my own stress, anxiety and every other thing that is wrong with my head.

It's 4:04 am in the morning, and now that social media wasn't enough of toilet, I have to come here and write. Perhaps, writing was oversold to me by my teachers, that I once wrote well. But those were love stories whereby one died and folks just became sadder than what they already were. With time, I left to write about love stories, because love stories were unreal - Kelden needs to save up and go to work to actually buy roses or ice creams or for vacation - whereby he meets Phool Maya.
